1975 Time Guitars Acoustic Dreadnought

Famously the shop where Paul Languedoc started building guitars professionally, Time Guitars was founded in the early 70s and built acoustic and electric guitars and basses in Vermont until the late 1980s.

This example has been played quite a bit in its 48 years, and it shows with honest playwear to the Sitka spruce top, buckle rash on the mahogany back, and a fair amount of other minor blemishes to the finish. That being said, it has been professionally maintained, with some tidy body and headstock crack repairs and a bridge reglue performed over the years. It’s been given a fresh setup and cleaning here at BBGB and is good to go home with its new owner. It’s got a great sound, nice and loud with a warm and mid-heavy tone.

This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Vermont guitar history, built in October 1975 at the Waltham, VT shop prior to the move to Burlington. Famous primarily for their association with Paul Languedoc and, by extension, Phish, Time made mostly electric guitars, with a very limited number of acoustics produced over the 15-year lifespan of the company.
