2010 Macica F5 "Hoss" Mandolin

Martin Macica has been crafting stringed instruments in his Upstate New York workshop for over 30 years.    This mandolin, an F5 style was christened "Hoss" upon its completion.   Featuring an Adirondack spruce top, quilted western big leaf maple back and sides, and steer horn binding and truss rod cover, it's a well played-in and versatile instrument.

The ebony fretboard has a 10" radius and measures 1 1/8" at the nut.   Additional features include a full-sized ebony pick guard, Bill James tailpiece, and Rubner tuners.

The mandolin has recently had a full setup, including a new bone nut.   It arrived in very good condition, ready for many more years of picking.  Includes Crossrock HSC.
