D'Angelico Excel EXL-1

Based on John D'Angelico's original Excel cutaway this EXL-1 from 2014 captures D'Angelico's original magic in an affordable package. Made from laminate maple back and sides and a tight grained pressed spruce top this is a gorgeous guitar with a sweet acoustic voice and wonderful amplified tone from its thin-depth alnico neck humbucker.
